Appwrite is looking for a motivated and technically skilled individual join our Developer Relations team. As a Technical Writer intern, you will be creating comprehensive documentation and code examples that enhance our API and product documentation across various SDKs. This position is ideal for applicants who are passionate about technology and love helping others find solutions to technical problems through writing.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop: Develop and maintain clear, accurate, and concise documentation for our API and product documentation, with examples in multiple programming languages that support our SDKs: https://appwrite.io/docs/sdks

• Collaborate: Collaborate with the Developer Relations team to ensure technical accuracy and usability of documentation.

• Best Practices: Ensure all documentation adheres to industry best practices, standards, and guidelines.

• Writing: Use a variety of SDKs to create well-organized documentation that helps developers integrate and use our API and product effectively.

• Engage: Engage in the improvement and execution of documentation practices that help enhance the clarity and accessibility of technical content for developers while gaining valuable insights into content strategy

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a technical degree or equivalent experience

• Excellent writing skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

• Prior experience with proven ability with technical writing in a software development context

• Basic knowledge of programming languages and software development tools

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

• Contribute to documentation projects remotely, ensuring technical materials are clear and developer-friendly
